SoulBonds - the three archetypes

Hey little blues! For all my Texas people and those that keep up with me outside of Texas, we got snow! Safety was a real concern for so many of us here this past week with the pile-up and the outages. If you are spending your time here on this website, I'm glad that you are safe, and thank you.

Quick shoutout to the Universe for always working in our favor - even in the worst of situations! Before I begin speaking on this particular post I would like there to be a disclaimer, as I am not speaking for the witchy community in and of itself, but rather the teachings associated with the community.

I am not speaking for how everybody feels this is based on my research and things I have experienced. Your practice is catered to you and your beliefs!)

🦋SOUL TIE - What's that?

To understand the entirety of this blog post, we'll start off at the beginning. Reincarnation, and how it applies to Wiccan/Witchy beliefs. Reincarnation is the belief that after your body passes, your soul takes another form of life based on the collective karma built up from your past life.

In Wiccan beliefs, teachings consider the duality within an object's energy. There is a huge belief in what is called the Divine Feminine and Masculine. These two energies range in actions and appearance in physicality's. These energies aren't tied to any one gender, and together they are normalized to be fluid, particularly within Native American culture and Paganism.

Both of which, are very significant to my particular spiritual alignment. My native culture exposed me to the beliefs of duality, and my involvement in wiccan/paganistic teachings allowed me to make sense the native culture I was exposed to.

With the preconceived belief that your life in the present isn't the only lifetime you've experienced. If this isn't you're only lifetime, it's not your friend's/family members/ coworkers only lifetimes either. The people you were tied to in your past life/lives, traveled with you from life to life to guide you. The thought process is that as you raise your vibrations, you start to attract more and more of these people from your past lives. Resulting in important events that shape you to be wiser than you were in your past life.

There are many ways to be able to tell if you've met someone from a past life, and that will be a different blog post, but some of the key signs include:

- Similar Life events

(ex: both parents divorced at the same age)

- Syncronchicities

(ex: angel numbers and feathers)

- You immediately feel like you know them from somewhere despite having never met them.

- You have crossed paths and never knew

(ex: lived on the same street or two streets away, grew up in the same area, went to the same local events)

The more you encounter your soul family, as I call it, the higher you raise your vibrations. So, the more you explore and dive into your spiritual awakening. Keep in mind that these interactions are meant for your benefit, and if someone is not serving you or helping you reach your highest good, then the universe will limit your interactions with them one way or another.

That being said, going into this, there are three main types of soul ties you can share with someone. Not everything is meant to be categorized, so don't try to categorize every interaction. You'll run the risk of mislabeling relationships and romanticizing things rather than being able to recognize and accept that the right relationships have ended. You'll know when a relationship or interaction can be categorized.

🦋Karmic Connections

A Karmic Connection, is a relationship or interaction with someone from your past life that you owed a karmic debt to, somebody that still had a thing or two to teach you. You can have karmic debts with anybody. Karmic relationships only last as long as they need to, or however long it takes you to learn that particular lesson. (The time it takes to learn the lesson is thought to be 'divine timing'. Our 'ego' is the side of us that prohibits true productivity, it's what blocks your ability to manifest.) These lessons could be breaking generational curses, fighting your ego in an awakening, or healing past traumas, etc.

🦋 Soulmate Connections

I don't particularly like the word 'soulmate' because nowadays with the modern Tik Tok witchery, the word soulmate carries around so many misconceptions and romanticizations from the general public. All Soulmates are considered karmic because you will owe a karmic debt to people that play a vital role in your life. A soulmate in this particular context is anybody in your life (present or past) that plays a significant role in cultivating your soul and who you are. Common Soulmate connections include family, close friends, and lovers. These connections are very nurturing in nature, the goal with these relationships are to give you guidance and support when you need it. That's why a lot of people meet soulmate connections when they're at a crossroads, or need to look inwards to heal. You'll get moments of deja vu without having actually been around them for long.

🦋 Twinflame Connections

This particular connection is pretty complex and it deserves a post all on its own because of the number of misconceptions being brought about through various social media platforms. This connection is pretty rare to encounter. If you've encountered this connection you'll agree to say that for some it's the ultimate kickstart to your spiritual journey in a sense, and for others, it brings around a lot of unresolved trauma.

The twin flame connection is based on the belief that when your soul was created, like everything else you were both divine masculine, and feminine. It is believed that your divine energetic counterpart exists because your soul was placed into two different bodies. This person is meant to amplify the human experience by exposing you to yourself. The purpose of this particular connection is to place you in full alignment with your purpose and help you find what feeds your soul. This connection pushes you emotionally, spiritually, and physically to be true to your intuition and higher self. What differentiates this connection from all the others is the way you are able to fully let this person in every lifetime you encounter them. This connection when healthy, exemplifies the journey of self-love. Twin flames unite every lifetime, but they rarely stay together. Not everybody can handle their demons amplified towards them. Thus, this connection tends to attract a lot of toxicity. It can be either the absolute best or the absolute worst, it really just depends on how much you're willing to commit to every side of yourself. Most people only encounter them in this lifetime to be able to see where they could use improvement. Some of the signs to be able to see that they are your twin flame include:

- angel numbers 11:11 or 1234

- flocks of birds

- Heavy rain or precipitation when you're with them

- Shared passions or hobbies

- Exact same details on the aspects of both of your childhoods

- You guys will mirror each other physically
